Comprising three separate sites, you enter the "main house" by crossing over a timber walkway into a floating glass and steel box, almost at canopy height with the surrounding trees, with city and harbour views shimmering in the distance.

Linked with elevated walkways, and furnished in a sleek and uncluttered style with contemporary furniture, Bridge House will suit the modern design enthusiast. With floor to ceiling glass windows and sliding timber shutters to ward off the sun or ensure total privacy, the main open-plan living area features a 10/12-seater table, lounge and fireplace. The semi-open-plan kitchen is well equipped (cappucciono machine), and features more floor-to-ceiling views with sun-splashed modern counters. Bedroom one is reached via a bridge from the entrance level, and has an open luxury bathroom and a separate walk-in cupboard area.

Stairs lead down to two more bedrooms and another, smaller dining room and kitchenette with flow out to a large deck furnished with deep comfortable daybeds and lounges, alongside the rim flow pool. The modern en-suite bedrooms are all equally spacious, and feel secluded from one another. Donga, the 4th bedroom is even an entirely separate dwelling accessible via a small path down the garden, so Bridge House is equally ideal for a family travelling with older children or a group of friends.

With numerous private decks set in the indigenous garden, a heated rim-flow pool that appears to tumble into a gurgling mountain stream, this is the ultimate retreat, where you can enjoy quiet reflection with birdsong, minutes from the city's vibrant nightlife and shopping scene.
